Do you guys dress like the pictures on your website when you play a gig?
Absolutely! Every performance!
How long does it take to set up?
Depending on the amount of equipment required and how accessible the performance area is, the set up/sound-check usually takes between 45 and 90 minutes.
How far in advance should I book you?
As far in advance as possible. We are open to last minute bookings if all the members of the band are available.
How much space do you require?
We would prefer a stage (or performance area) of 4 meters wide by 3 meters deep. We do understand that this is not available in all venues so we will definitely work with whatever space is provided. Because we are a trio we can set-up in spaces that are not as accessible to larger bands.
How long do you play?
The most common set times are 3 x 45 minute or 2 x 60 minute sets but we are flexible depending on the event and your requirements.
What kind of music do you play?
Our goal is to play a variety of songs that the audience is familiar with. Take a look at the song list on the Song List page to get a feel for what we play.
Are there long gaps between songs when you play live?
No. We keep any breaks between songs to an absolute minimum by finishing one song and beginning the next as quickly and seamlessly as possible.
Can you play music during your breaks?
Yes. Although we are not DJs, during breaks we can provide a playlist that will crossfade from song to song to keep "dead air" to a minimum. We can also provide quieter background music for dinner when requested.
If you would prefer a dedicated DJ just let us know and we will include that service with your quote.
What type of events do you play?
We play clubs, pubs, socials, weddings, community events, corporate functions, and private parties such as birthday parties and Christmas parties.
How much do you charge?
The price of hiring the band is dependent on several factors including the type of event, the distance to travel, and the length of your event.
How long has the band been together?
The band has been together since 2007. We have been performing with the exact same three musicians ever since!
The venue I have booked is somewhat small - should I be concerned about excessive volume?
Not at all. We have years of experience performing at lower volumes to best suit the needs of the venue, you and your guests.
Can I come and see you play live before booking?
Yes, please do! Check the shows page for an upcoming gig or just have a look at the video page or YouTube channel
